GRIMALDI GEMLIK
The port of Gemport located in Gemlik, Bursa is one of the ports where Grimaldi vessels dock to load and unload freight.
Featuring an 8-storey 50,000 m2 parking lot inside a bonded yard, the port is a gateway to the world for the automotive industry in the region, offering export and import services for Tofaş, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Renault, Peugeot, Citroen, BMW and CNH. During 2011, Egekont’s volume of vehicles and Ro-Ro freight consisted of 215.495 units of exports and 56.985 units of imports.
Special information about Gemport for Ro-Ro:
The maximum freight handling capacity for all kinds of towable and MAFI trailers is 25 tons (including the tare weight of the MAFI trailer – about 10 tons).
The maximum door height of the vessel is 4.8 meters.
